Did you know that hunger kills more people every year than AIDS, malaria, and tuberculosis combined? Join the Naperville Area CROP Hunger Walk to help hungry families in our community, region, and world.
The Naperville Area CROP Hunger Walk educates, advocates for, and raises funds for hungry families through the work of Church World Service, the Loaves and Fishes Community Service, and the Northern Illinois Food Bank.
The 41st Annual Naperville Area CROP Hunger Walk begins with the Monarch Landing CROP Walk Hunger Day at the Monarch Landing Senior Residential Community on June 15. The Monarch Landing Team will assemble emergency health kits.
The event for churches will be on October 15.
Grace United Methodist Church, 300 E. Gartner. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m., and the Kick-Off Rally begins at 1:15 p.m.
Church World Service is a global ecumenical organization focused on disaster preparation, immediate response, and long-term recovery.
